Program eligibility

Following is an overview of the QuickWrite program eligibility. More in depth descriptions by classification are provided in the online quote process.



Eligible General Contractors

Annual gross receipts of $4 million or less
Insured owners must be active in day-to-day operations, on jobsites daily and have direct supervision over subcontractors
New construction work on residential and commercial projects is acceptable, excluding condo, townhome, rowhouse and co-op projects of any size
No more than five new residential projects per policy period in a tract, subdivision or development
Residential or commercial property remodeling
New ventures are eligible with a minimum of three years’ construction experience



Ineligible General Contractors

Construction consultants / construction management for a fee
Developers or design build firms
Paper contractors; not actively managing job sites and labor
House flippers
Architects, engineers or real estate agents
Restoration or insurance mitigation



Eligible Artisan Trade Contractors

Annual gross receipts of up to $3 million
More than 30 classifications including Concrete, Painting, Electrical, HVAC, Tile, Janitorial and Landscaping
No more than 15 new residential projects per policy period in a tract, subdivision or development
New ventures eligible with a minimum of three years of construction experience (Plumbers require 3 years in business.)


