Product Distribution

Most RLI products are available nationwide, managed through branch offices across the country and distributed through many channels.

Wholesale brokers help retail agencies place complex commercial coverages. Other products are specialized for an industry or are value-added coverages, and are delivered through retailers. In every case, individual products are distributed in the channel best suited to their line of business.

Some products are offered through our non-admitted surplus insurer, Mt. Hawley Insurance Company. Risks placed with Mt. Hawley must be placed in accordance with state and federal law, including applicable surplus lines laws.
