Anne Kurt Retires

After 30 years of service in the insurance industry, Anne Kurt, Assistant Vice President, Small Commercial retired effective September 30, 2023. Anne began her career at Contractors Bonding and Insurance Company (CBIC) in 1995, serving first as an underwriter for Contrac Pac® then moving to roles in operations and risk services.

Anne joined RLI in April 2011 when RLI acquired CBIC. She was promoted to Assistant Vice President in October 2017 and assumed leadership oversight for the Contrac Pac underwriting team. Throughout her tenure, Anne's leadership and expertise have been instrumental to the success of the Contrac Pac product.

Blaine Kensinger promoted to AVP

As a result of Anne's retirement, we are pleased to announce that Blaine Kensinger, Director, Specialty Package is promoted to Assistant Vice President, Small Commercial effective immediately. Blaine will assume leadership responsibility for the Specialty Package and Contrac Pac product teams and will continue reporting to Don Johnson, Vice President, Small Commercial.

Blaine joined RLI in January 2012 after serving as an intern with the RLI Professional Services Group in the Eagan, MN office. Under Blaine's leadership, our Specialty Package business has transitioned to a niche product with special focus on admitted construction risks. We are confident he will continue to lead the team and our company well in his new leadership role.
